The father inlaw got one second hand, had a paddle in it gets going quick but takes a bit to turn, fairly stable too. Doesn't seem to bad for a cheap start out yak.

extremely stable but slow to turn yes but u dont really need to turn fast ocean fishing haha Alot of fishing room plus the side rails allow for easy no hole installs or rod holders etc

I previously had a ocean kayak scrambler 2 and the seak lunar is far better :)

They don't seem like a bad yak, would be a big pro if it had a rudder, but other than that can't see anything wrong with it, has good drainage where u sit is a big plus, the biggest down fall with my klargo, holds water

i have a lunar aswell, and im very happy with it for a starter yak. Very stable tracks fairly well till a breeze comes by. Ive never had it in salt water yet but hoping to fix that soon. My only gripe would be the lack ofa centre hatch. I am planning to put a rudder on beause how often would paddle with no wind but thats a long way off.

Hope it helps

I've got one and luv it. Beats my Wavedance Kingfisher hands down. Very stable, heaps of room. I've tricked mine up with Harmony Slidetrax rid holders, 2 paddle keepers, anchor trolley, and railblaza platform mounted Lowrance Elite 4x sounder. In my opinion you won't go wrong starting with the Lunar.
Cheers Steve
