You will be surprised how much gets in there, also helps the sonar image.
I hadn't thought of that thank you!

Once I get the aqua racks on the wall ill have a look.

Corey, I have a dual cab ute, and similar roof rack setup, as in the length between the front and rear racks. I need to get a larger yack, as I thought my roof rack wouldn't handle long distance travel with a, outback, let alone a Pro Angler.

Question is, how does it handle on your racks during travel, or is it only a makeshift setup until you get better rack support?

I only have 2 x 7 foot yaks, and they aren't a problem, though I tie em down front and back, as I don't want to wreck a trip by having the yaks come off, do you tie it down forward and rear too?

Hi Rob!

I'm not planning on changing I'm not seeing a problem at all it doesn't move and seemed pretty darned stable. Your right there's not a wide span between my racks either. I think for 90% of trips it will be fine. However the other 10% on long trips wher I'm on freeways for several hours will probably see me fix the bow and stern. I'll also get something to fit between the rear sports/roll bar so it has extra support.

I've been told you can get straps with something similar to garden hose fixed to one end which you can slide in the sides of the bonnet gaps if you have no other fixing points so ill look into that.

Like I said I had slot of concerns associated with moving this thing about and transport. But it's all in the mind.

Thanks Corey, you definetely have me thinking now, I recall cruising down to Mallacoutta with a real useless roof rack, roughly a bit further apart than your rack, on a little Holden Gemini, with a heavy 16 foot fibreglass canadian canoe loaded on top, and the rear rack did give way, but I still managed to get there and back okay, and the PA is a lot shorter than that and I have good quality roof bars, so maybe I may just give it a go.

Looking at the PA side on in your car is a bonus too, as I have never noticed how they taper upwards under the rear, this will be a blessing as my fibreglass tray canopy will not get touched.

Either way, you have a great yak there.

Cheers mate. I'm glad my experience and circumstance was of value. Everyone has very different predicaments and sets of aspects to take into account. And I found all of the reviews and things I came across failed to put at ease many of my issues. It wasn't untill I got one and ticked of my concerns of my own experience. I still can't talk to much I've only had it out once.
