Re: Re-yak
It's funny how people overlook Hobies for a paddle yak, not saying Mick did, but I have found a lot of people think they only make peddle yaks.
Cheers Gary...

Re: Re-yak
hobie paddle yak's (quest )...although hobie are not known for paddle yak's...they have made some that are unrivaled for stability, however given a decent paddle upgrade and they move threw the water faster than you would expect, the hull shape is quite sleek and slender, cut through the chop like a knife...completely void of any hull slap.
i tested one out a fair while ago now when they were first released but at the time they were twice the price and coins were a bit stretched but now the quests are available at a fair price...i doubt i'll ever go to a different breed or type...oh btw you can surf a quest, has any one ever tried to surf a pa ???...just curious.

Re: Re-yak
I dropped into Aquayak in Bentleigh this arvo (I work at a music shop a few doors up on Thursdays) and have to say I was pretty impressed by the look and quality of their yaks. Some of their package deals looked to be really good value too. If I was after a cheaper paddle yak, I would definitely take one for a test paddle.

Re: Re-yak
Fair enough. I did have a look at them before the kingy came up this week but I love the look of the kingy.
I still think if you are buying a yak young fella then try them out first to make sure they suit your needs. If you have the money and can afford a hobie then they are definitely worth a look and Neil or Scott will gladly look after you.
