YAK TRAILERS
Mulling over some ideas for a yak trailer to cart the PA and Cams Outback, maybe 2 PA's in future if he goes that way..So far I like the Idea of a tradie syle set up that I can add some jerry can holders, BBQ, Aux battery and general camping/fishing gear that I can lock up securely whilst out on the water..Keen to see any ideas pics etc..Scott..

Hello Fishsmith,
you considered "EzyTrailer boat trailer" I believe you can get it in a kit form for a reasonable price. Hope this helps.

Re: YAK TRAILERS
Have considered that style, and they would be nice and easy to load/unload. But I'm after something I can secure all my gear in and do a few highway kilometres with as doing 8 to 900km for a weekend Yak fish isn't that uncommon.

Re: YAK TRAILERS
I'll start with a big apology as I don't remember whose this trailer belongs to but I did ask about it at safety beach
I think it's brilliant.
It's based on a boat trailer, securely stores your gear and is heavy duty. Apparently it tips (or was that someone else's?) so it's a bit easier to load single handed.
Just a great conversion.

Re: YAK TRAILERS
That lovely trailer above is mine and it all started from a second hand (trade in) boat trailer I bought from a manufacturer for $300.
Added a marine ply base and boxes on top, lights and rough paint job. It does tilt and is soooo easy to offload and upload.
Still a work in progress with a extra rack to go above the PA to carry an extra yak if needed and a couple of other ideas to add.
It's well worth looking for a second hand boat trailer out there.
