Macherel setup

Post by peatop »

Hi guys, i came across this vidio while playing on youtube, Nigel show his rigging and it sounded interesting, so i thought i would post in here and get the expert opinions on what you think, this vidio is for sp's but i thought i wouod ask if it could be used somewhere like SWR when chasing other pelagics using bait and live bait?

I've been looking at different setups and wondering if you guys use a single strand wire or multi and how you rig it?

The rig would definatley work at SWR. The knottable wire is generally meant to stand up to spotties but would struggle against spanish if their teeth found it.
