hey everyone,
the wind looks like its picking up a bit tomorrow. however do you think just going to flinders peir and fishing around near the guns and some drifting for squid would be ok? im not great with western port so i thought best to ask first. i was planning on fishing at high tide which is about 10am. any advise would be appreciated.

Around the pier should be fine, the guns are on the ocean side, so not really fishable tomorrow out the front.

Fish an hour either side of the high tide. Anymore and the current gets a lot stronger.
Well past the edge, almost at the point of no return.

I will be launching at Shoreham around 8.00 chasing squid.
