marine glue
hey guys, picked up my Garmin striker 4 today everything thing seems pretty straight foward, just wondering about the glue for the transducer. is it just general marine glue or do I need something special ?
a quick fish can be between 1-8 hours

Ive used warmed up sellys all clear. Please report on the Garmin im planning in upgrading did you get it from Bcf ?

Hobie dealers stock marine goop, which is best, but failing that selleys all clear seems to provide adequate success rate. As Frank says warm it first, it flows easier and with less risk of bubbles which stuffs it up.

You can use Sikaflex 291i
Kept transducer in for 2 years now. I used the 100ml tube with heaps left. Also EBay for $13.
But Goop works too.

Just be careful you dont get sikaflex everywhere its a bitch to get off your clothes etc..

+1 for sikaflex 291i comes in black or white, had a transducer in the bow of the yacht for 4 years now, $20 at Bunnies for a 100ml tube.
