Ok! Easy there tiger.
Yeah I got stuck, then half sunk the next trip with you!...
The common denominator was fishing with you.
Ever since I quit fishing with you it's all smooth sailing and very mudless expeditions.
Little do you know I lurk your haunts regularly in the comfort of the boat.
Always keep your eyes on the boats cheater, you never know when I will come for my revenge!
I have will make sure I have toadfish and buckets o' mud on board next time I know your around.
Somebody just back of you while you are fishing is as bad as someone looking over your shoulder while you write a letter to your girl. ~Ernest Hemingway

Thanks guys, some helpful information there. I believe The Goat Track (GT) is somewhere near Fishers Beach Mornington, but is there a launch there, or do you launch from Fishers and paddle round?

GT is Located halfway between Fishies Beach and Mt Martha Beach North.
50m north of Benton Road, opposite 631 Esplanade Mornington.
When there is no parking at Mornington there is often parking here.
Mav & others used to launch regularly at the bottom of the goat track.
Mav also used to prune the bushes and clear the track to make access for yaks.

Last time I was there the track was clear but there was a bit of a step at the bottom to get to the launch site.

See link to launch places below for a video & commentary about GT.

The condition of the GT is unknown for I have moved and no longer maintain the track like I used to, much to the chagrin of the local council. Easy walk down the hill, tougher walk back up the hill. But it puts you within 500m of prime fishing area. The 5 min walk saves 20 mins paddleing/pedaling. Just the rocks on the beach can be annoying if no one has made a ramp.
Well past the edge, almost at the point of no return.
