Yeah I had a good night with great company.
Was really good to catch up with my valentine for the first time and my present it awesome :yahoo:
The parma was top notch but could of been a bit bigger :eh:

I agree once a month would work better and if it would help entice some others to come would be happy to find somewhere in a more central location for the next one.

@ Carol - don't worry i woke up to the sound of rain so canned the idea of taking the yak out too

I look forward to doing it again but every fortnight might be stretching the friendship a bit. :) .
People shouldn't be shy in getting to these nights. Very relaxed and casual affairs with lots of laughs.
Had a giggle when Sues balls dropped with thud onto the table. Had a few heads turning.
Women were well represented which was great. We'll make a point of properly catching up next time Carol.
Must thank Adrian (Cabinetmaker) for the ride, and also the Geelong crew for getting it going. See you at the next one.
[/quote] I was pretty happy with the kiss and cuddle though. :D .... Yeah..me too actually...hee hee!
I thought I got a bite...........but it was just a bit of weed.

True, twas a great night, always good to catch up.
Thanks to Liz for getting there, sufferring the persistant cough, did so well, finally succumbing to wearyness.
She really enjoyed the company, even with very little understanding of fishing or yaks she was still very amused by the tales.
Good on all you crew too, great turnout and Sue, all the way from the far side (WPB) , well done mate
Jaryd had a plan, St L in the morn. 10.00 , OK
In the morn, J ph "it's raining "
So, Im packed , so I dont need to be there @10. Launched about 11.00
Flat, little wind, a few light showers.
Jaryd turned up at 2.00, when the heaviest rain fell
Water went glassy , rain went away, fished too 6 ish
I finished with , 6 ting 1flatty and some bait (some squid and couta)
J scored a nice flattie and a bag of squid, a good day out

I think once a month is a good opportunty for all, maybe some could be held nth of Geelong, might encourage a few more to join in.

Cheers

A great night had by all I believe, wonderful to be able to put faces to some
of the moniker's not yet met as well as catch up with old acquaintance's and
find that they are still fighting fit. Thank you in particular to Bretty for organising
the event and for his hospitality in putting me up for the evening.
I shall look forward to the next event...pardon the pun...with baited breath.
