Just heard on the news that another kayaker has lost his life when he fell out of his kayak near Hastings.
This is one really sad day for the family, friends and the larger kayak fishing community.
Just a timely reminder that if you wear a life jacket at all times whilst out on any waters, and have a paddle leash, you give yourself a better chance if things go pear shaped.
Easter holidays are almost on us folks.
Don't just think of yourself when yakking, think of those that are waiting for you to come home!
