Well done Mick that's a great effort. You'll have to change your name soon. Any thoughts ?????

perhaps sportyfatyacker?
People laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at them because they're all the same.

Re: Thinking of selling my Yak due to Safety
Finally got out in my yak, just a quick trip off Blackrock flicking lures for Flathead and well what ever else would take the bait.
After a quick tweak to a sticky rudder I had a nice morning on the Bay even managed a couple of fish,a flathead to 42 cm and squid to make a nice dinner.
I landed a few of these, look like a Mario Wrasse, but not sure.
I was just good to be back on the water.. I think I will hit Altona for some Snapper next..
Cheers

Taste good, very soft flesh. Dont attempt to fillet, simmer in a sauce whole, dont try to fry and flip they disintegrate

They are quite a common by catch on sps. I know them by "goat fish" or "red mullet". I believe they are from the wrasse family. Good to see you make it onto the water.

I can hear what your saying about improving core temperature and upper body strength.
However for me I don't paddle.....I pedel.
I have a Slayer 10.
I will just have to get fit some other way!
