Dive report - Sunday 20th

Got wet yesterday, down at one of my usual spots. Seeing the wind forecast the day before, I opted to dive shore based instead of taking the kayak predicting it to be a bit rough. Lesson learnt, take the kayak anyway, as when I got there it was glassed out.

Swam out past the extension of Blairgowrie marina and came across some huge schools of mixed in salmon, trevally and mullet holding deep in about 8metres of water. They were pretty wary of me, but waiting patiently on the bottom proved successful. Final tally was a PB silver trevally (just under a kilo), a large mullet and a couple of average size flatties and LJs. Vis was about 6-7 m and the temp is slowly rising. Can't wait for the rise in numbers that summer brings
