It's getting colder, and some fishos might be getting close to putting the rods away for a while.
However those serious cod fishos know that the colder weather can bring out the bigguns.
They are reputed to be the fish of a thousand casts, but I suspect they become the fish of ten thousand casts now.

Not by any means the be all of cod strikes, but I'll post it anyway as a reminder.
There are a couple of crackers here though. Love it.

I prefer sub surface but to see a fish appear from nowhere and hang underneath your lure really gets the heart going.
