Miragedrive service guide

Post by Yakass »

SLH have posted a video that runs through the process we use to service a Miragedrive (Glide Tech). It should be equally helpful for anyone needing to service a V2 drive to (just ignore the points on roller bearings). Anyone who needs to replace chains, sprockets, drums, etc, might also find this video useful.

Excellent, especially due to the risk of snapping bearings when blundering about for the first time yourself.

eg if you put bearings in without a guide then try pushing shaft through you run the risk of snapping them if one of the bearings is prevented from sitting flat because it is resting on end lip of housing.

Dont think they are separately available either if you do?

Yep, using a blank does make it easier. And yes, replacement bearings are available ;-)
