Hi guys,
I threw together an edit of the photos and footage that both Jordo and my wife got from the surf session. When I went to upload it, YouTube didn't like the background music and blocked it. Its up on the webpage though and the photos are on Facebook.
Sorry for the external links but here's the video:

The photo album is here, you should be able to view it even if you don't have a Facebook account:

If anybody wants a copy of any of the photos I have RAW versions too
Cheers,
FnD

I had a client in the car the other day telling me how he almost drowned after his kayak smacked him in the head in the surf, it made a nasty gash and he was lucky he didn't get knocked unconscious, great to see most people wearing helmets, looked like a fun session!

A kayak going full pelt has a fair bit of momentum! I've been hit by one before too; it's none too pleasant. Luckily I had access to a company with a set of kayak specific helmets They are a bit more comfortable than a skate helmet you'd barely notice you are wearing them. The early footage of Angelo was when he just arrived and I was still on the way in, he went back out with one on a few minutes later.Smish wrote:I had a client in the car the other day telling me how he almost drowned after his kayak smacked him in the head in the surf, it made a nasty gash and he was lucky he didn't get knocked unconscious, great to see most people wearing helmets, looked like a fun session!
