Nice. Looks like Cheater caught the wave of the day (but did he ride it all the way?). Otherwise looked like some messy little foamies in closer. Well done to all who made it down, not the most inviting day for a surf session.

Awesome guys. Looks like fun was had. Might need to grab one of those helmets for the upcoming snapper season
Live long, fish hard and hopefully catch something.

Looks like conditions weren't as bad as they were predicted to be.
Bummer I missed out on the weekend away as the whole weekend was milder than forecast.

Good effort to everyone coming down on a cold wet morning. Nice work on the video Jordo, I got some photos and footage off the sister in law, I'll throw an edit together soon.
Roll on the next one!

Re: Inverloch surf day September 2016
Thanks for the video Jordo And thanks the organiser, aka. Fishndive
Although I spent more than 50-60% of time in the drink, but must thanks everyone who gave me the encouragement and tips
I will definitely remember the moment i saw the wave is higher than me, which pushed the clarkeski standing vertically to the sky and flipped the kayak over my head,( and me into the drink of course... ) And Thanks for FishnDiver's paddle helmet, saved my head from the concussion by kayak hit my head, when kayak and me rolling in the surf...
Now time to improve my paddle strokes.......

Re: Inverloch surf day September 2016
not that one Shane picked it up well but got dumped on before I could do much - I did get a couple of rides in but any waves worth surfing stood up fast and dumped - no wall to work withshane wrote:Nice. Looks like Cheater caught the wave of the day (but did he ride it all the way?).
still a great day though and the newer guys come away with some new skills playing in the slop , I know the next surf day these guys with there new bracing skills will do better
hopefully the water will be warmer next time
