Not fishing related, but a video of me learning on a ocean racing ski.

Nice vid jord! Looked like you were going along at some descent speed.
Is that a new paddle?

Nah just one that came with the yak I was borrowing, had to give it back today. At 46cm wide the ski makes some bloody good ground. Just wanted to try my hand at a vid and get some feedback, so cheers for the reply :up:

Nice, looks like it takes some good core to keep it balanced. Did you have to concentrate on balance much as to not tip over too often?

Yeah it does. I was only really paddling to keep myself upright as the strokes help you maintain balance. This video was after a few previous sessions too. It definitely gives you a new perspective of kayak stability.
