GoPro sunset

Post by delboy1203 »

Not fishing related, but taken up at Lake Eildon last week. The wind was howling so I thought I'd entertain myself with the camera instead of attempting to launch the yak.

That's cool.
How did you get the panning so smooth?

$5 hose timer from KMART with the GoPro mounted on top. It's a 2 hour timer (360°). 1 photo every 4 seconds for around 50 minutes.

Some people use 1 hour kitchen timers, but they cost about $15 and don't usually have the nice flat top that the hose timer has. Except this one: http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/80174464/

As used for panning with minute markings on the side (GoPro mount on top covers original markings)
