Ok how long were you on the water for?

I am thinking to heading to Lang Lang next week and putting the boat in the water. I have fished there landbased on a number of occasions.

Not sure whether to launch on one high tide and come back in on the next high tide or not.

From memory, I think it was around 7am ish to 4pm ish

I've only launched there once and I have no idea of depth/tide requirement for a boat. Cheaterparts would be a better person to ask.

Lang lang and Jam jerrup are pretty shallow with few deeper channels and lots of mud banks in the middle of nowhere......I have got my kayak stuck in 3 different areas in the same day 1km from shore......it is a high rish area for boaties, unless you are a regular there.....mud banks keep changing frequently due to the strong current, My GPS said i it was on a channel and i was actually in .3 meter water stuck in clay  lang lang has a boat ramp(Can launch a boat with water above 1.1 meter mark, check will weather tide chart) if you wanna launch your boat watch the depth sounder very carefully and move slowly toward these area or Reefisland, coronella is not too far from here.

Even with kayaks it is a spot you wnana launch with someone who has fished that area before launching alone, at times the currents are strong.

And yes like Hatters said check with Cheaterparts he is local to this area and is the best person to give more accurate info.

at .3 I am pretty safe, .2 or .15 it is a bit harder, as my tinnie is pretty small.

Had planned to hit Lang Lang but a change of plans means a launch at Tooridan tomorrow morning.

Been a while since the tinnie has hit the water, the engine started, had to repair some wiring, filled the boat with water to make sure it didn't leak.

Put braid on some reels, got the burley and bait ready.

Hopefully a gummy or two, maybe a snapper as well.
