It's Getting Hotter

Postby erik the viking » 13 Nov 2017, 19:17

It's getting hotter, and summer is nearly here.
So, it's obviously going to be thongs (flip flops) time.
But, ..... what do you do with the old knackered ones?
Well, try this for example.....

Yeah, can I have winter back please!

I've been in Oz for 35 years and still dread Melbourne summers!

Anything over 25 degrees and I'm well over it!

I'm not sure it'll be what you're after? Some quotes from: http://www.theage.com.au/environment/weather/la-nina-likely-to-develop-in-the-pacific-by-december-bureau-of-meteorology-says-20171121-gzpugq.html

"While the added cloud cover can moderate temperatures, there is also an increased chance of prolonged warm spells for south-eastern Australia during La Ninas, the bureau says."

"the Indian Ocean's influence is tending to counter some of the typical La Nina characteristics, prompting the bureau to predict much of the country may yet get a warmer and drier than average summer"

C’mon!

I worked out in the heat all day and did lawns & some slashing!

I’m an old fart and can do it so maybe some of you need to toughen up a bit?
