Eddie,

Have you thought of just tacking it on to Azzo's party. Cant see why he would mind.

Not a bad idea, I can make azzos date, can't do the others ATM, besides, a few AI's should add a touch of class!

I'll be out and about in my TI soon.

Just waiting on a couple of things:
(a) my new trailer to be in at SLH
(b) my car to be repaired after a stupid bingle

Hope to be available and back sailing all summer - based many weekends around Rosebud area and often take boats to Safety Beach area

In the meantime I'll keep an eye on this thread and we'll see how everything goes

Cheers

The original idea was to just have a meet, check out each others units as some of the kayak owners have built there own sails, and to just have a sail around with what the conditions have in favor.

Got a preference out of the two dates Gonefishn?

Hi Eddie

Don't really have a preference out of the two dates. What is the meeting time?

Hi Geoff

I live pretty close to the beach and just walk to there with my kayak. Haven't got a setup to carry it on my car yet. So far I have sailed quite a few times to Hobson's Bay around 40-60 mins. That is roughly half way from Elwood to Altona. So I may still be able to meet you guys there.

I am all for having a few sailing yaks/AI/TI's turn up to Azzos and I bet Azzo is to, Though I think we should still set an individual date just for an excuse to get out.
If you are happy to meet at Azzo's then I will leave the other date until next year January 14th as it leaves a bit of a gap between the two.

As for a start time, a nice casual 8.30 am sounds good for me at this stage. If anyone wants to have an early start, then they are welcome to (my glow plugs arn't real flash these days  ) and I will just catch up later.

Might ask Rhino or Starver where the best launch would be for trailers and AI/TI's might be, Ideas anyone else?

Cheers

G'day Sellz, good to see you are still floating about and would have been good to catch up again. When, where you heading, work  or fishing :yahoo: ?

Have you been getting out for a fish around your parts?

Alright Fellas,
Been Stuffing around with this for too long. THIS WEEKEND. Moderate winds forcast for Saturday and Sunday.
So, 29th or 30th October. Saturday will be OK but its pussy wind most of the day. Sunday might be better with the wind increasing to Howlin' in the afternoon.
If this goes off, there is enough of us to make this a regular thing. Bi monthly or whatever.
