I think it will be ok. Ive put mounting point in through mounting boards inside the hull of the pontoon that will be strong enough. I was hoping to have them this weekend but didn't work out that way

Latest update for the outriggers. looking good so far. Had to sweep the amas back so not to affect paddling. Ill make it so the floats can be detached and the main cross bar can split in half for storage. There may be a need for further reinforcing not sure yet, i have used dowl inserts on the critical parts.
The outriggers will mainly be used when taking my daughter out and just sailing not really when fishing.

Another change to the design that was done about a month ago but still haven't tested yet

They have been moved back further and the main cross bar is now aluminum tubing.

Can't be bothered reading everything but my suggestion would be balsa wood made to the desired shape and fibreglassed, thing giant balsa wood hb lure in theory in regards to mounting points to the support bar/bars

Ive tested it with just the 2 bottles it now has 4 on each side, and am still considering filling them with expanding foam.

Foam weighs more then air thus you will loose boyancy

Yes, filling them with foam will not increase buoyancy, for greater buoyancy you need to create a greater water displacement.

I believe expanding foam, also absorbs water, which would be counter productive as well.

The expanding foam thought is more to help the floats keep there integrity.
Its all trial and error.
