Spinnaker Demo Day at SLH

Post by maverick »

Late Notice, but for anyone who sails an A.I. and is interested in seeing the new spinnaker being installed and some video of it being used this morning, drop into SLH at 3 pm today with a BBQ being included as well for those that attend.
Well past the edge, almost at the point of no return.

I went out with Scott yesterday morning to do a little side by side test with a spinnaker on his yak. The wind was a little strong, but Scott's accelerated considerably faster than mine which doesn't have the spinnnaker. Be good to do a side by side test on a nicer day. They are probably best for winds around 6 - 12 knots. They will make trolling with multiple rods harder, but just to go sailing with, they will be a hoot.
