A sail and a fish in the Oasis

Post by Age888 »

Hey guys, took the oasis out from Mt Eliza on sunday as in yesterday , must admit the sailing makes it so much easier , we went out to the 19 meter depth straight from sunnyside , a fair hike out, fishing is no probs at all with the furler , any way sorry about the camera moving about everywhere.

PS , no fishing video action in here , thats while its in the sailing section.

Very nice, almost tempted by the oasis if the kids came out a bit more I think it'd be a no brainer. Looks nice with the sail.

Looks like a nice sailor and good fun
How did you find the tracking and were you using the fins as daggers ?
Did you try use both front/back, just the back, just the front ?

Yeah it think it sails very well for a single kayak, I kept the turbo fins down when sailing into the wind, Linda tells me she had her fins up. The Oasis comes standard with sailing rudder wich certainly helps with the tracking.
My battery in my GPS went dead on me shortly after leaving the beach, next trip I will make sure it's fully charged and record the distance, speed and tracks that we do.
