Hobie Big Day Out - Sorrento - 27/28 October.

Had a great weekend at Sorrento with the Hobie Big Day Out.

The day was put on by Action Kayak and Sail and SLH in conjunction with Hobie Australia for owners of Adventure Island and Tandem Island sailing trimarans.
Day one saw great sailing conditions, albeit a big cold and grey, but day two really turned it on with the weather. A little light on with wind early, but that changed after a beach lunch at Blairgowrie and conditions were just perfect for the sail back to Sorrento.

Crystal clear water, blue sky and sunshine, interspersed with the sea of color from the Island sails made for an awesome sight. A great weekend was had by all.

And trawled all the way? Didn't see too many rods, but great pictures anyway.

That looks like a lot of fun, a bit of Island hopping in them would be a great way to spend a holiday.
