DIY elec livewell.
You guys with pa14's, do you prefer the 41lt or 55lt waeco for livewell use?
I like that setup  might be too big for the AI as in width but it would not be hard to come up with something simular ,I can feel another project coming along :shhh:

Might fit if run sudeways? Not sure but worth checking with a tape measure

As for the 41 vs a 55 on a PA. 1.5kg differance in the weight. Can put 35lt in both. It was more wether the squarer shape of the 55 was better. Might just get the rep to bring both in for a look.

I have a 41 litre Bunnings esky that fits cross wise in the Outback and lengthwise in the AI, if that helps.

Problem with it is it doesn't self prime, that's the hardest thing to do once primed it should be ok.

Mine has the outlet on a 90 degree elbow, if you lift the elbow above the lid you get a full time esky drop it down and it will fill to the lowest part of the outlet.

Btw, will probably fit the 55lt.

The difference in weight is 1.8kg heavier for the 55lt BUT because its square not rectangular the footprint is actually slightly smaller meaning with 25 or 30cm height of water in it, it will actually weigh less as it has less litres in it. Just need to be sure it fits now. (25cm of water height = about 3kg differance in weight making the 55lt lighter)

Should be better for the fish being more square in shape perhaps. Less nose bumps maybe

1 Litre of water equals 1 kilogram, it doesn't make it weigh less due to only putting in 25-30cm of water in the bigger esky.
You need 26 litres minimum which is 26kg regardless which esky you use, you will find the taller esky will catch the wind more making controlling drifts casting lures harder.
