Post by Ghurkin »

A guy on a forum I visit won an offset smoker at the local pub, we started talking he wanted $200.00, ended up getting it for $130.00, I have a slab of pork belly in marinade and a slab of pickled pork that will be turned into ham to cook in it tomorrow, should be a dam good day!!

I'll raise you two BBQ's and a wood oven/pizza oven/smoker? Plus a fire pit with BBQ frame.

bought 3 pieces of pickled pork and a pork belly, marinaded the pork belly underneath only with Portuguese marinade and it and the pickled pork went in the smoker after the charcoal was alight properly, about 1/2 hour later I opened the fire pit door and chucked a chunk or redgum in, once that was well alight I dampened the fire down and the smoke began, redgum smoked ham, dam its good
