pics being chopped is when you have a high res photo. If you reduce your page view zoom level you will see whole pic. Do the same when you see others have posted likewise.
Thanks Keith, good tinnniw in my choices. I tried to get as close to silver and black colours which seem to be colours of choice on here for PPB.

I also got some single hooks to replac3 trebles if needed

Been thinking about how to store my Kayak and decided on the railblaza starport slings. Easy to install and works well.

Just picked up a terez 15/30 and a 15/40. :D
also a Diawa black gold 5000, got to be the best value reel about. :D
and a heap of inline single hooks, changing most of my hard body's over, a lot safer for me and the fish

I've just wired up the sounder in the Slayer and tested it with a multimeter to check I did in fact wire the batteries in parallel. The next job is to attach the rod holders, the Slayer has a bunch of tracks for attaching things too but the Berkley Quickset rod holder bases have a hole right through them so there's no way to easily attach them to the sliders in the tracks. There's a couple of P-clips to attach in order to finalise the anchor trolley too. Once that's done it's good to go.

The Stealth needs a bunch of work done on it, fortunately Eoin at Seasherpa has offered to help out with that, I am hoping to use the same sounder head unit on both yaks but I'm going to need a new transducer, power cable and mounting bracket for this one. It'll hopefully end up with a similar rod holder assembly to what Cheaterparts did for my Prowler. With any luck the internal rod storage will mean this is the end of losing all my stuff in the surf!

Unfortunately this means it's the end of the line for the Prowler, it's been a great yak to get me started and has racked up a lot of kilometers including out to the 60m line at Portland. If anyone is looking for a decent beginner kayak with the speed and stability to handle some pretty average conditions and a sweet custom made rod holder assembly and a few other bits and pieces let me know.
