Rod of aluminium
Cable terminators

Silicone glue
Drill Bit
8x Stainless Steel Screws

this plus the CUDA 300 will make a nice holeless Depth Sounder

2x Daiwa Tierra 2500’s on their way :)
Now looking for 2x nice rods to match.
Thinking either Berkley drop shot or Shimano T-Curve
Looking for 7’ single piece or >7’ 2 piece 1-3 or 2-4

Used for salmon, small snapper, flatties and Squid

Just bought a Berkley dropshot 7' 1-3kg 1 pce ...told the missus she needed one and she said ok, so when she's not with me I have two. :yahoo:

For Brettrobo
Re Berkley dropshots
This IM6 blank is fitted with Fuji Alconite guides, Fuji deluxe reel seat and finished in a metalic blue. Ideal softplastics or hard body lure rod.
Legend:
BDS: Berkley Dropshot Series.
66: 6' 6"
68: 6' 8"
610: 6'10"
70: 7'
1: 1 piece
2: 2 piece
13: 1-3kg
24: 2-4kg
4: 4kg.
Example: 662-24 = 6'6" 2 piece 2-4kg.
Cheers Gary...

Have to say Brett, while I loved my T-curve, when it grew legs and left I replaced it with a couple of dropshots, for the price they're hard to beat.

I have a tierra rod 3-5 Kg and it's my latest sweet heart also have a dropshot 3-5kg
talk about crisp rods, both (drop shot is getting a bit jealous at the moment)
(Lustfully looking at a Tierra in a heavier wieght ((SWMBO rod)) for trolling ssshhhhh!)

Brett The Dropshots are all over the place, around here I saw some at Gone fishin, BCF, Fishing fever
I think full retail is about $120, seen them as low as $65. Most sales I have seen then for around the $90 mark.
Just keep sniffing around the shops and catalogues. They come and go.
Post Christmas they will be giving them away again. Or buy them on line.
I got my Tierra 6-10 lb 3-5kg for $90.00 at Compleat angler on sale think they are usually $140

Also Wayne at Southern sportsfishing 598 balcombe road Black Rock had them, good family business that has reasonable prices all year
rather than having sale every second week.five stars
