Well, no joy at the local police station...

They reckon that since I'm not the original 'victim' and that it happened so long ago, they'd never get a prosecution.

The only real chance would be if Marcus got in touch, but that's a very long shot.

So if anyone reading this is on Facebook, could they please post the details of this thread and all relevant info about the kayak and the gumtree ad in as many relevant kayak-related groups, that would be great.

Damn shame, thats BS that when it comes down to finding a needle in a haystack, it's treated as a dirty rusted needle :down: anyway Dr mingle good on you for spotting it :up:

Bullshite opinion from a lazy copper Mingle - as an Ex-D, Handling Stolen Goods or Unlawful possession are 2 offences that readily spring to mind.
