In fact, after I had left with all my tools, I went back and actually helped them with their maintenance. I oiled all the locks that I could legally access from outside their premises. All their roller door locks, gate locks etc. It wasn't until I got home that I discovered that I had mixed up my containers and accidently used Loctite instead of oil. The containers were similar. Sorry about that.

Hi Gary. Yes mate I totally agree. When I hear that first 'woohoo' on any fishing show, I turn if off immediately. It drives me nuts.
There's only a fine distinction between fly fishing and standing on the bank looking like an idiot.

A neighbor had a circuit breaker trip while he was away for a month. He was a keen stinker fisho and his freezer had a fair bit of catch plus about two kilos of abalone. We figure it was off for about three weeksMagpie_Mick wrote:When the freezer dies, and a whole lot of stuff has to get thrown out!
I think he ended up throwing that freezer out.
If I recall correctly the sparky had to come out about a dozen times before they finally found what was tripping the ground leakage breaker as it was an intermittent fault in the wiring (not an appliance). All they could do (short of rewiring the whole place) was keep on isolating various sections of the house onto a separate breaker and waiting to see which breaker tripped next time it happened. Took months to finally find the bastard of a thing.
