Melbourne (Altona) First Post

Post by starver »

Just thought I say hello, I live over on the western side of Melbourne.
I have been fishing most of my life, and since discovering yak fishing I have been fishing in places I have not normally gone to,
and also areas that you can't access with boat.
So really it has taught me a new and exciting way to fish and too appreciate being on the water more often.
Really looking forward to this new Yak forum which is totally dedicated to Vic Yak fishing.
Well done Mitch and Will on getting this site up and running. :D

Cheers Starver

Thanks mate.
Welcome to the forum, looking forward to your reports.
I hope to catch up with you on the water soon.

I think its about time I headed over your side of the bay and have a fish with "The Others".... ;)
That is if you guys accept the Franghanistanian Pastport?

Cheerz.

Thanks Guys for the warm welcome.
Yep we will have to organize this East meets West trip.
I was thinking we have two trips, over two weeks one down your end, then one down our end.
With a backup plan if weather turns bad maybe a local river.

If everyone commits, that sounds like a grand plan.
