Thats a sit in kayak. Generally not considered ideal for fishing. lack of accesible storage and stabilty. hence the outriggers. If you use without them and tip it is not simply a matter of climbing back on again

I would pass on it

As above, steer clear of sit in kayaks. The one you've linked looks quite impractical for fishing and would be a poor place to start.

A good quality kayak that typically comes up in your price range is a Hobie Quest 13. Others to look for include the kingfishers, ocean prowlers and Malibu x13 (a bit heavier). The Lovig kayaks (eg the Kawai) may also be worth a look as a cheaper new option. Generally you want a sit on top, at least 12ft long, not too wide and good storage and mounting options.

I did see an 2014 outback for 600 with 0 bids on ebay, no pedals! In corio

Maybe i should go for it lol
Ended up going for >$800. I noticed from the pics it had the old twist lock to lock in the mirage drive.
I think they were pre 2008 but the add said the outback was a 2014 model ?
Familiarise yourself with the different features from the different years if you are buying 2nd hand.

I am sure the buyer will realise that when they try to fit a later model drive into it.
