Well it probably has happened to more than a few people, but they just don't talk about it.

Seen a photo or two of boats that have hit Joe's island at speed and are subsequently stuck until the next high tide, sometimes they are minus the skeg or propeller.

but the difference is most end up on the mud from going to fast - Will ended up on the mud by moving to slow

not from a yak but this is me, caught this beauty at Eaglehawk neck in Tassie.
