Hi and welcome momunny, boys have done a good job getting it up and going, and yes it is good to have a more local place to catch up and tell stories.
When we say it's BIG RED SEASON, we don't mean a big red blood stain on the bay,
GET YOUR LIGHTS ON + YOUR PFD'S.
Happy Sailing Fishing and keep blowing bubbles.

Thanks Jim,
Moving down to Inverloch in a few months, just building at the moment so still in SE suburbs for now. However i am down there nearly every weekend to keep an eye on the construction. Would be good to catch up for a fishing session or a hundred Have heaps of Anderson inlet and tarwin river to explore.

Good to see you here momunny.
Hope you enjoy exploring Anderson Inlet. Just watch out for that tidal run near the mouth. Several years baack I had to take the walk of shame over the sand when I couldn't get back in against the tide.
Cheers

Gday Hoit,
Good to see you are here in this forum too.
Mate, there is no shame walking on the sand near the mouth of Anderson inlet.
That place is very dangerous when the tide is running strong. It is one of the most dangerous bar crossing I have known.
I remember one time we we a few hundred meters from the entrance on my Tempo II. Me and the missus were paddling like mad and we were still being pulled out...
Luckly we have the 30lb leecy and with both of us paddling we made it safely to shore.
Hope to catch up with a fishing session in the future.
