Upgrading AI Rod Storage

Post by maverick »

Just thought I would share. The lack of rod storage on the AI annoyed me until now. Fixed it tonight, doubled the capacity and didn't drill a hole in the yak. You can thank me later :)

I saw Shanes at NSC and will do similar. My biggest problem is how to get the water out of the rod holders and mast step without tipping everything out .....needs to have a drain or something....know how I would do it but 6 to 8 mm thru hulls are like hens teeth.
Your mind is like a Parachute! It only works when it is open

grab some 6 - 10 mm tubing (clear plastic) and poke it into the hole, down to the bottom and then suck on it to syphon it out.
