DIY AI Tramp

Post by Nello »

due to AI tramps being fairly expensive and not many second hand ones coming up for sale I decided to make one.
used a shade sail and some spare tie downs.
used heavy duty polyester to sew it all together.

Nicely done. The cam cleats are actually a good upgrade to the original tramps. I'd also run some bungee around the edge and end of the tramp to connect items to.

thanks guys, good idea too Shane. also might add on some pockets and some more support so hopefully it doesn't sag as much.

If you want to reduce sagging try stitch some "pockets/sleeves" & slide some flat Sail battens into them.

Nice bit of sewing there Nelson, can you still swing the outriggers in with the tramp on?
