Made something for your yak ? Show off your skills ?my sister and her bloke borrowed my kayaks for a picnic adventure and somehow snapped my paddle. I'm not sure if this is a common occurrence being that you can get replacement blades. So ialways had a hand paddle on the bucket list no need any more.
After hacking into it with a air hacksaw file die grinder adding some heat shrink around the handle with some shock cord for the wrist.
Made something new and want to share it "I do"

That looks really good. I had a crack at making something similar, not as professional looking as yours. I was hoping to use it to back out of a snag when hooked up to a fish but found reaching across my body to paddle a pain in the ass. The hook and saw edge were super handy though.
Yours looks awesome, hope it works out for you.

Decided to up grade my light pole to a alluminium one from some old boat rod racks.
Still not finished but this is it so far.
I have added led strip lighting with reflective tape for extra visibility. I had it welded by a mate and the used 70mm heat shrink make it neater.

Hi guys.
The one thing that gets on my nerves about my pa14 is the slow turning circle.
I know a few fellers have made bigger rudders but then they hit the ground when loading and unloading which needs a pvc adapter made to overcome that.
I've come up with a add on to the factory rudder which goes up and down and stows away in its original place.
My pa14 turns like my old outback with a sail rudder now.

Hi guys,
I am keen to make this type of anchor system.
Can anyone let me know if this would be unsafe for Port Phillip Bay??
