Now you will be able to fish waaaay over there, because you can, rather than because that is where the fish are.

Sure you will love it. Take the time to practice good paddle techniques and enjoy the glide. Very rewarding and good for fitness. Whole different world to pedal boating..

EXACTLY! no point just going to Willy and catching nothing, when I can now get fit and catch nothing ;)

I've been watching a few videos, and one I found particularly good was this by Ivan Lawler: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqXIF4ToUcE

However, nothing is better then time on the water practicing!!!

First up, re-entry practice? The water temp must be up to 11 by now.

Gee whiz that's nice. If I win Tatts I may upgrade. I must have the oldest Stealth in Victoria. It is still going well though.

We'll see how the weather forecast changes through the day as the spring forecast is very up and down. Unlikely to be much of a fishing trip for me. I may take one rod and have a play around putting in and out of the hatch etc.

May even try a turtle roll :)

It does seem that the build quality is pretty good so no reason why a well looked after ski shouldnt last. A promising sign that its here to last :)

I'm off to anglesea over the weekend so maybe a little bottom bashing and surfing in the stealth as I don't have a sounder set up yet.
