Couldn't resist the urge

Post by Franko »

After alot of thinking about my style of fishing and a family pet emergency I put my proangler on the market
(Pet is ok). When the wife found out she told me not to sell unless I was getting another one. I had a burning desire to travel further troll and chase fish down. I had less of a need for a standing platform with alot of storage. I like to pick a location and target species and go from there. Only taking what's needed the angler was over kill. So after toss and turning I picked up this Adventure Island. It is well rigged but will change a few things. Paddle, peddle and sail I'm looking forward to doing it all. Easy to car top and can know leave from work for a mid week fish. There is no perfect all-rounder but I think will enjoy the versatility.

Looks good, but would look better on the water and maybe some scales and ink on it ;)

Spot on Keith and to keep up with you at Kirk's lol.

The hatch has an extra seal the rear lines look good.
I have fixed up a few mount holes by welding them up.
Orings on hatches are tight. I will practice sailing and reEntry up at epplalock.

Onya Frank, I should be ok for a sail in a few weeks, so if you want some company down this way, just ask.
Well past the edge, almost at the point of no return.

Good pick up Frank.

It looks like it's already had some good work put into it but then there's still plenty of pimping you can do. Let me know if/when you want head out together and I'll show what I've done with mine. Maybe a quick sail to P2 for a fish sometime.
