Re: FishnDive's Stealth Fisha 500 -Minimalist trolling set-u
Here's a quick run through of a minimalist trolling set up on glass
Rigged and ready - paddle, 2 rods, sounder and a couple of bits and pieces:
Just running 2 hardbody setups, but room for two more on the back and some rigged rods in the hatch if need be, a net can sit on the rear deck within easy reach.
Knife sits inside the hatch lid, also have a line cutter blade in the PFD.
Bilge pump and bragmat under the seat easy to grab and ready to roll.
Quick and easy to set up to be on the water in only a few minutes.

Looking forward to seeing your beast in action at Port Augusta.
I will peddle near by.
Hope the Shark deterrent doesn't also deter the Kingys.

Re: FishnDive's Stealth Fisha 500 -Bait Fishing
Quick write up on adding bait rod holders to the yak.
The footrests in the Fisha are further forward than the Evo and have plenty of room behind to mount a berkley rod holder base. I put one each side and I went with berkley quick set's but added a pair of home-made extenders using 25mm black aluminium from Bunnings so as not to interfere with the opening of the fish hatch lid. Worked a treat. After the pics were taken I added another pop rivet to the side of each of the rod holders to stop the holder getting pulled down to a lower angle by a big fish strike. Thanks for the tip Shane
