Wish I could have both, like the girl in the taco ad, unfortunately I cant be in two places at once. Oh well, just going to have to settle for SBTs down where the avg. Schoolie is 20-25kg....

Yeah I guess we'll have to settle with the paddle next to the cliffs while we get some 25kg schoolies, it's gonna be a tough trip :D

Jordo/Nello,

SWR in 2016 is likely to be the 2/4 to 10/4, which is after Easter. So maybe do both?

I won't be getting back from tassie til 6pm on the 3rd so swr is a bit out of the question :(
Will be looking out for the reports and swr 2017 though

Congrats Nello. You have a lovely craft there. I love your mods. Slippery suckers aren't they?

Thanks mate, yes it is a very nice yak, very very happy with it and keen to get out again next week. Thanks I'm pretty happy with them, planning a couple more small ones for the hatch. Yes you're not wrong there!

Yeah tassie is great, went there with my dad and some mates in march this year and picked up some nice schoolies
These are four of the six we got in the day, you can see how close we were to land in the pic in the top right hand corner.

I've been looking at making something to support my kayak more on the roof racks and tossing up between a couple ideas, at first I had the idea to make something that bolted onto the roof racks, then thought of adding a third roof rack but those ideas were both fairly difficult and expensive.
So I ended up deciding to make a tradie H frame for the front of the car and have it bolted onto my nudge bar. Turns out that my old trampoline has been sitting at my grandparents being unused and my nana wanted to clean up the place and throw out some things, so my pop and I decided to recycle the steel from the trampoline for the H frame.

We managed to make the frame detachable by using pieces that used to slot in together on the trampoline, therefore the H frame is detachable making it convenient to remove it when not in use.
