Cleaning a hobie.

Hello all, Just returned from a week cruising down the murray in a houseboat around echuca. I got home yesterday and washed my hobie spot ( papaya) with warm soapy water and a scrubbimg brush but some of the mud aint coming off the inside ( rough surface area.) Ant suggestions how to get this murray...

Well done Dom. I'm still trying for my first deer. I have seen a few but always from the car or without a rifle. I got honked by a massive sambar buck near mt buller gates while fly fishing the Deletite river. It scared the absolute sh*t out of me from around 30 meters away.I estimate he was 300kg. ...

Yep. I have done heaps. I butterfly them and soak them in a brine solution of salt, brown sugar and onion powder overnight. Then let them dry till tacky. Sprinkle a bit more brown sugar then smoke the fillets for ten to 15 minutes. :clap:

Thanks heaps for the info Andy.. We had a great weekend. We only got 4 trout but they were all beautiful browns over a kilo. Two fish were caught trolling with a rapala rainbow trout pattern and two were caught on a brown trout pattern casting off the wall.
