Re: 6x4 box for the wifes car
This trailer is no longer seen as a "Box Trailer" by the RTA, I was told it's "a registered custom trailer that meets the legal requirements" by the head guy at the RTA

Re: 6x4 box for the wifes car
I'm having a 3m 75x75 4mm length of steel tube wielded to the trailer this week to extend the drawbar so the yak can slide forward to make this travel trailer 100% legal. I loaded up the yak and took it to the RTA yesterday and the fella said he'd be happy to take it off my hands but unfortunately w...

Re: Electric Angler
Cheers  The kill switch is a great idea, I have 8mm bullet connectors between the hull and the control head so I'll make up a connection that plugs in to the positive and can be attached to the rider. This yak will only get used on flat waters, they are VERY stable, I'd be really surprised...

After a while I decided to stick a 34lb watersnake on it and added a few 12v sockets and LED lights along the sides so I could be seen when night fishing. I then purchased an...

6x4 box for the wifes car
I've had my outback for over a year now and have my ute set up to transport the yak but we've been taking two cars away on most of our trips as my wife refuses to go in my ute, lol. Unfortunately for me this often means that the yak stays home and I miss out on fishing in some great spots. I've been...

Re: Who wants to give up smoking..
Cool, glad this thread popped up. I smoked from the age of 15, thought it was cool but now realise I was just another looser killing himself. For many years I kept telling my wife and myself that I'll quite but continued to smoke up until the 11th of March just gone. For the first time in 22 years I...

Yeah mate, I can swap them to the front if need be but I think I'll use them mostly for trolling.
