Been camping at Walkerville caravan park the last few days. What an awesome spot. I actually found it easier to launch from Walkerville north, I drive past the Walkerville north caravan park and head along the water as far as it takes you towards Walkerville south. Found it less busy, but havnt test...

maybe a trip around Walkerville bay inlet area is a better option to start on. Not sure how far from walkerville south to Wilsons prom side but beautiful views.

I have almost all jan off,so to sail and troll somewhere sounds good.was trying to work out if feasible to sail from walkerville back to inverloch.

just went to bunnings and bought a micro everready waterproof floating torch for about $8.00.-
its only 16-17cms long so quite compact and small compared to the big dolphin torches.
Now ill search for a compass.
