Re: Loading
Fishingmad, I'm an older yaker and have a crook back. I have a PA 12 which I think is really great. The hassle is the PA12 is quite heavy. I purchased a T-Bar loader that fits onto the tow ball, but found I could only get the PA12 up on the roof empty. I then had to load all the gear into the kayak ...

Re: Just a bit of a health warning advice.
I can't reinforce any more than what you have said Gozz. Us blokes generally don't don't place importance or less importance on these sorts of issues. The girls are good they go straight to the GP. Us blokes have to change our ways. Prevention is better than cure. I have been seriously lucky twice w...

Re: Do you use a PLB or EPIRB (either one)?
Shane & Cheater, the sales blurb quotes it as a "ACR RESQLINK PERSONAL PLB EPIRB GPS AND POUCH", you are saying it is a PLB and not a EPIRB as it is stating. Something dodgy going on here!!

I've got this one and love it: http://www.stohlquist.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=32 Stolquist also make the Hobie branded PFD's they have the high back floam which sits higher than the backrest so you can actually lie back properly in the seat. FishnDive, following up o...
