I don't have moulds big enought so i used my

Why would the yak melt do you think it could react to the aluminium.
I know that the salt water and aluminium don't mix well.
I could always paint the box.

Made my New battery box and put 12v socket in my yak.Now
i can charge my phone or run my tolling motor and sounder.

The legs go right through and sit out about 5mil,i do have bungy cords at the back now but thinking of putting some big washer's on the front legs to spred the load and
not put a hole in the kayak.

There is a tube running across under the back of the seat and it dosn't put weight on the drain holes,The front tubes i still have to put rubber under them,
And being top heavy it is only 1 inch higher of bottom so i think it will be ok.
