After getting stooged on ebay for a cheap saragosa 10k with it not even being delivered to me, I got my money back and decided to invest in a penn conflict II 6k. Also got a steal in the rod with a hamachi nano ultra cast 30-50 pound popper rod for $80 down from $400 due to cosmetic scuffs in the r...

Sounds like you had fun dig, looks like it hasn't slowed down since I was there. We had a couple of those boats that don't seem to realise your drifting as well... Shame about the trevally though... I'd rate trevally and luderick as the most underrated fish at mallacoota, not many people target the...

long jetty is fine to launch at anytime, you might just have to walk further. The tide does run fairly hard but it's very doable and crossing straight over to little snake island is an easy one.
