Bringing this thread back from the dead :up: I've been wearing these waterproof socks the last couple of seasons. Hoodies, tracksuit pants and other absorbent cotton clothing are fine on a boat, but you should never wear them on your yak. If you end up in the drink they will quickly become waterlogged and heavy. My wife gets it occasionally and it really knocks her around. She now uses a series of exercises that she does when it comes on and it usually subsides quite rapidly.

Wherever possible, carry your yak right way up. I used to transport my first Revo inverted and the salt water heavily rusted the roof and around the windscreen of my Jeep.
